Word-y

Normally Dilbert isn't a favorite comic strip of mine, but yesterday's really stuck a chord. It is so easy to use words that discourage or criticize, and once out of my mouth, the damage is done. Far too often I speak words without previewing them first. How I long to be a person who says words that are "helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen."

Thanks, God, for even using a Dilbert comic to call me to repentance and refocus.
