Transformational Moments
Last night was Guess Who Is Coming to Dinner. Our Care Group coordinated this fellowship event for over 120 people. Four host people cooked for four guests who went to their house for dinner. The guests all met at Metro at 5pm and we gave out directions to get to the houses. They didn't know whose house they were going to -- and the hosts didn't know who was coming. It was great! A few people couldn't come, so we got to go to a house. So fun to meet people we didn't know and eat great chicken pasta, salad with homemade dressing, and warm apple pie with Blue Bell Ice Cream!!!
One of our hosts had planted a butterfly garden and purchased catepillars in cocoons for her daughter and her friend. A monarch butterfly had come out of one of the cocoons just that day and they had released it in the butterfly garden. They were amazed that such a huge butterfly came out of such a tiny cocoon. Isn't that just like God -- to transform small into big and beautiful!!

So glad that you are back to blogging. Have missed getting to read the thoughts that we don't always get a chance to talk about on the phone!
