Our Awesome God

God is such a great encourager! He reveals himself in so many awesome ways at perfect times so that our eyes are filled with HIM and we have renewed strength to persevere through the tough circumstances around us.

This weekend the beauty of his creation filled me to overflowing...

...The vibrant greens of the Gulf waters of Sarasota, with waves almost over my head, and a "bath" temperature of 86 degrees...heavenly.

...The pelican skimming an inch above the water and then rising easily back in flight...

...reflecting lights all across the darkened bay, shimmering and sparkling...

...The brilliant red sun rising quickly on the horizon....

...a giant mother osprey guarding her very messy nest high above us with her tiny baby birds flapping up as if they wanted to see us too...

...a dove guarding her nest on the ground when we walked close...

...an unbelievably vivid rainbow across a vertically stretched cloud, stamping the hand of God across the sky...

Everywhere I looked I saw the beauty and creativity of our God. His glory surrounded me and filled me with indescribable joy. How has he revealed himself to you today?
